Company Overview
01
Time-intensive manual workflows across several procurement and inventory processes
02
Supplier communication spread across fragmented email threads
03
Operational backlogs caused by workflow complexity and processing volume
04
Excessive manual steps required to complete routine operational tasks
As the business continued to grow, many operational tasks scaled directly with transaction volume, increasing the risk that headcount requirements would rise alongside the business.

“We've been able to double the size of our business without really hiring any additional people on our procurement and supply chain team.”
— Spot & Tango
The Process
Spot & Tango wasn’t looking to overhaul its entire operation overnight. The team started by identifying a handful of repetitive, high-volume workflows that were consuming time across procurement, inventory, and supplier operations, then worked with Didero to automate them one by one.
Together, the teams mapped out existing processes, integrated Didero into Spot & Tango’s day-to-day workflows, and expanded automation as new opportunities emerged. AI agents now handle activities such as supplier communications, appointment scheduling, purchase orders, item receipts, transfer orders, and invoice processing, while routing exceptions back to the team when human input is needed. By taking an iterative approach, Spot & Tango was able to gradually remove operational bottlenecks without disrupting existing processes. As volumes increased, the team could focus less on administrative coordination and more on keeping products moving through the supply chain.
Didero introduced a coordinated system of AI agents that works across procurement and operations. Agents share context and collaborate across purchase orders, invoices, item receipts, transfer orders, and supplier communications. When inventory needs to move between facilities, AI agents coordinate warehouse appointments, communicate with receiving and partner sites, and post transfer orders and item receipts into NetSuite. When a shipment arrives short or a receipt does not reconcile against the order, the appropriate AI agents identify the issue, route it to the right owner, and continue processing the remaining work. By separating routine execution from exception handling, Didero helped reduce backlogs that once defined the team’s week to near-zero. Routine operational work happens in the background, with exceptions escalated to the team only when action is required.

Coordinated Agent System

Inventory Coordination
Warehouse appointments, receiving communication, and transfer orders posted into NetSuite automatically.
Exception Routing
Short shipments and unreconciled receipts are identified, routed to the right owner, and processed without blocking the queue.
“It emailed all of our partners on our behalf, scheduled appointments, confirmed them, and then automatically entered it into NetSuite. That was a bit of an aha moment for us.”
— Spot & Tango

“You don't have to do everything all at once... you'll look back six months or a year later and wonder why you didn't do it sooner.”
— Spot & Tango
